SOCK SYSTEMS

In the food industry it is often necessary to process the goods at a room temperature of below 10°C. In Order to avoid a development of micro-organisms, many works rooms are, therefore, kept ventilated and cooled.

If metal ducts are used for air distribution they might accumulate dust, dirt and moisture, and so become a hatching place for micro organisms.

This type of air distribution, as well as cooling units with fin tubing, also cause draughts and condensation which affect the staff and lead to more days lost through sickness.

In recent years canvas ducting has gained ground as an alternative, and the above mentioned disadvantages have thus been eliminated.
